When talking to J about student reactions to a recent program her students worked on, I mentioned that I thought the audience hadn't liked the performance. Afterall, they just sat there, stared, and clapped. To which J responded:

That's typical of an audience at UMR. Show no emotion. We're engineers. We're like the Borg. Muraahaaha.
